Chicago Shop For Someone Who Has Everything

Virtu is a shop in the heart of Bucktown stocked full of goods all “made by someone, not by something.”

I especially love these Heart Measuring Spoons by Behive.  They are hand cast in lead free pewter on a twisted copper ring.

Virtu is located at 2034 N Damen Avenue

They have a pretty fab online shop as well.  www.virtuchicago.com

Tablevogue – The Gift of Easy Entertaining

I got a chance to test out the Tablevogue recently on my “prep gift table” that I set up in my office.

It changed the whole feel of my office.  My table went from a 6 foot white folding table with a black piece of fabric covering the top to a full, clean, elegant table that completely covers the bags and boxes I had stuffed underneath.

While I know most people don’t have “prep gift tables” – it is a perfect product for anyone who likes to entertain and keep things tidy.  You can even get creative for parties and use paint to spice up the table.

Wicker Park Gift Shop – Elevenzees

I took my first browse through a gift boutique I’ve been meaning to check out in Wicker Park – Elevenzees.  Such a fun mix of gifts, organized perfectly into categories around the store so you can find something for everyone you are looking for.

I immediately fell in love with the line they carry, Chalkboard China.  If you read my blog a lot you know I’m obsessed with anything that you can write on or personalize….especially chalk.

The wine glasses are an especially brilliant idea…put your name on the bottom and you are able to keep track of which one is yours the entire night.

Citizen Bean Coffee of The Month

Citizen Bean Coffee of the Month Club is one of the most clever coffee of the month clubs I have came across.

Each month you get a pound of coffee from independent roasters all across the country.  They even send little cookies, crackers and hand wrapped gifts to make their experience as perfect as possible.

Better yet, a portion of the proceeds goes towards the charity of your choice!
