TGI TIPS: How To Give Thoughtfully While Saving Time

· Give Experiences for The Hard to Shop For  – For those who seem to have it all, head to an experience gifting website like Cloud9Living to send a certificate for a unique experience, like kayak excursions or tours of a local brewery.

· Gift of The Month Clubs – Not only does a Gift Of the Month Club keep on giving, but it’s a thoughtful last-minute gift you can order online, print off and give the same day. Our top picks are Aromapersona, a fragrance of the month club, BBQ of the Month Club, or Birchbox- a new subscription service for the beauty obsessed.

· Donate to a Charity in the Recipients Name – Make sure it’s an organization close to their heart and the sentiment won’t be forgotten.

· Suggest a Holiday Gift Exchange – To take a few names off your to-buy list, suggest a Holiday Yankee Swap or gift exchange for large groups of friends.

TGI Review: Fete Holiday Night Pop-Up Market!

Fete Chicago

We were super excited to check out the new Chicago Market, Fete, last Thursday. It was put on by 3 former Dose curators in the lofty and very cool space,  Room 1520.  We respect the hell out of a highly curated mix of vendors and products, it’s tough to do (as evident by amount 97% of holiday markets out there) but Fete did it flawlessly.  It was a great mix of food + gifts, minimal but chic decor and a very hip and  in-the-know crowd.

Our favorites 5 favorite vendors:

    1. PoshCorn
    2. Nourishing Notes
    3. DinnerPartyShop
    4. Veruca Chocolates
    5. Brewcamp

Can’t wait until the next one! Nice job on a fabulous event ladies.
